Using this tool, you can generate encodings of given alphabets using e.g. the Shannon-Fano and Huffman algorithms. To this end, you have to list the symbols together with their expected probabilities as shown in the example below. Words to encode or decode are optional.
Instead of listing an alphabet with the character probabilities as shown below, you may also just type in a string that contains all characters with a number of occurrences relative to the other characters so that the probabilities can be computed accordingly.
